Mindfulness is an intentional way of noticing what is happening right now, without judging it as good or bad. When you are mindful, you become curious about your experiences in a positive way. We can be mindful of everything, including sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, our thoughts and our emotions.

By practicing mindfulness, children learn to pay attention to what is going on at the present moment and to pause before acting.
